Ippity Tag

Good Monday to you all! I have made a quick tag for the Ippity linky party here. I used 2 different sets on this tag, Music of My Heart, and True Joy. I embossed the music notes in clear, then used Broken China Distress Ink over it. The swirl I stamped with Black Soot DI. I stamped the birds and sentiment, then punched them out with my EK Success label punch, and inked the edges. The ribbon is seam binding that I inked to match, then wrinkled it. If you are interested in these sets, please see my Ippity blog for info, link is on my sidebar! Here are the complete sets:

Squash Book

Here is a little scrapbook called a squash book, that I saw a video on youtube for. Click here to see the video posted on her blog. I put pictures of my family in this one. The stamps I used are from Ippity sets, except the love one. The papers I used are from Jenni Bowlin, and DCWV, and I made my own coasters from chipboard. I hope you check out the video on how to make these cute little books! They would make a great gift too! Thanks for stopping in today!

Mini Basket Tutorial

I thought I would show a quick tutorial of the mini basket that I will have at my workshop next week. I would have done a video, but my camera and computer are not cooperating! These are quite easy and quick, so I hope you will enjoy!

Start with a 6×6 inch piece of DP, and score at 2 inches and 4 inches. Turn the paper 90 degrees, and score again at the same 2 and 4 inches. This paper I used is from a 6×6 paper pad by Lily Bee Designs.
Since this paper is not double sided, I randomly stamped flowers in 3 colors from the new Ippity set Friends+Flowers=Priceless set. Then you will need to cut on the score lines as shown in the pic on 2 sides only. Fold on all score lines.
Once folded, bring the 2 outside pieces together and join the corners. Keep the middle panel to the inside as shown. Staple all 3 layers together. Do this on both sides.
Cut a strip of the same DP 1/2 inch by 6 inches. Attach to the inside of the basket with glue dots as shown. I stamped the sentiment in red, and punched it out with my EK Success label punch. I sponged around the edges with blue ink. I attached the label to the basket with foam squares.
And the last step, I stamped another flower in red, and fussy cut around it. I attached a button with some twine in it, and used foam squares to attach to the basket.
These would make cute party favors too. Fill with candies in a cello bag. Hope some of you make these cute little gifts! Thanks for lookin in!

Grungy Monday 11!

I have found time this week to join in on the Grungy Monday challenge at StudioL3! We are doing a technique from Tim Holtz’s blog back in 08′. A batik look which you can read all about here. I used my new ippity stamps again, and used the swirl stamp from the set My True Joy for the batik panel. I used Wild Honey, Forest Moss, and Barn Door Distress Inks. I then stamped over it with the leaf from the set Friends+Flowers=Priceless, and the sentiment is from the same set. The papers I used are from Jenni Bowlin. The colors of this card are more a Fall theme, but pretty just the same! I used the rosette die, and another sizzix die for the small flower. Thanks for looking in!

Ippity Workshop projects!

I know I posted this card once already this week! But I am going to have my workshop girls make it, along with this little gift basket for the June workshop later this month. I used a few new ippity sets for the projects that I’ll show below. The cute papers I used on the basket are Be Our Guest from Jenni Bowlin, and go perfect with the cherry stamp! Hope to see you there!

Ippity Release Party Day 2!

I am also entering this in the My Unity Challenge. You are to make your own stamped background paper. You can check that out by clicking the link at my sidebar! Thanks for looking in today!
