On to Thanksgiving

Now that Halloween is over, I still can’t make myself start a bunch of Christmas cards yet! Hoping the snow holds off for awhile! I made this card for the Chick Challenges {with Ippity}. They have a sketch to follow, and to use only ippity stamps. I used the bit of burlap stamp on the background with Antique Linen DI, and the sentiment is from the set Here and Now, and it’s stamped in Palette Hybrid burnt umber. The turkey is made from punches and dies, and the paper is either Cosmo Cricket, Echo Park, or October Afternoon. Sorry, I cut the bottoms off the 12×12 paper so I can’t remember! The punches I used to make him is an oval, circle, heart, scalloped oval(for the feet), and a jelly bean Sizzix die for the head. I didn’t have a small enough oval for the head, so the jelly bean worked! I cut a triangle for the beak, and drew on some eyes. He looks pretty cute! The sentiment label is a Spellbinders die. Click the link above to see more ippity, or enter for yourself! There’s a free ippity stamp set up for grabs! Thank you for stopping by!
